Wow, it's been forever since updating. But it's just because I'm trying to live up this summer that I'm having. And let me tell you, it's been amazing. I've been spending time with the people that matter most, and the people that I know won't screw me over. And even if they did, I'd be ready for it, because I've grown from the past. I've been able to spend more and more time with Babyboyyy, which is amazing :) But yeah. I"m sorry that I've been neglecting Blogspot. I'll try much harder to keep you girls updated, not only with life, but with makeup & more. (: I've received a few e-mails with girls wondering where I've been, and I thought that was so sweet. I'll be here more often. Promise!
Friends are over right now.
But until next time!

Wow
Hey girls.
Wow, it's been such a long awhile since I've updated this, but I have my reasons. I've been so busy with all these things that led up to graduation, but I'm finally free from it. (Since June 6) And I know it's already June 10, but I've been hanging out with my friends that I know I'm not gonna see once school starts. I'm trying to make the best & most of our time that we have together, esp. with my main guys (aside from Babe) Dane & Camacho :)
I'm gonna try to update on some things, such as new products & makeup looks.
If you girls have any ideas on what I should do, feel free to ask :)
I will try my best to keep up with this.

Learning & Growing
Sorry girls. No FOTDs today. But I do have a lot of pictures from the Senior Awards Ceremony, the Yearbook Banquet, and just chillin' with my friends, which will be posted soon. Goodness, I'm really sad that this year is coming to an end. I'm so not down for saying goodbye to all my friends, especially knowing that I'm not gonna see any of them anymore (although I'd like to). It's gonna be difficult, and I could already feel all the tears riding up inside me, just waiting to burst out when graduation day comes.
This year has been so hectic. I've lost so many friends, especially two of my very best friends, who have completely changed. It's taken a toll on me for a really really long time. I constantly cried my eyes out. The tears wouldn't go away. I felt like shit. But I've learned to move on. One thing, however, that I've gotten through this, is, unfortunately, that I don't believe in "best friends" anymore. And it does hurt, because I remember the feeling of having one (more particularly, two) and always being able to talk to them about anything and everything, no matter how ridiculous or how serious it was. Right now, I'm just glad that I have the friends that I do have, because they've allowed me to get through so much and taught me to be happy with what I do have. I'm not gonna spend my time dwelling on the broken friendships that would only bring me down.
I'll just move on and be content with the friends that have stuck by me through the year(s). It's not a promise anymore. You just learn from the people you meet. My perspective's all fucked. But, it's getting together.
Ahh, okay. I'm gonna stop.
Take care girls.

Every 15 Minutes
Today, I must say, was one of those days that hit me so hard. I'm a senior, and almost graduating. Prom is coming up. We're all excited. But the activity at school today presented so much of the reality that we might not always make it, especially if we're not careful or responsible enough to know what we're doing or what we're not doing. There's this thing called Every 15 Minutes, and it's a program offered by law enforcement to show the reality of drunk driving. I mean, yeah, you hear things about DUI and all this stuff, but you never really take it into consideration until it happens to you or one of your friends. They did this for us today, and so many of my friends were "victims" of drunk driving. The juniors and seniors were taken outside to the scene, and looking at the wrecked cars, the bloody bodies, and the "dead" bodies took a toll on me. It was so realistic. The police and ambulance came, the helicopters were hovering over us. They made it seem as real as possible. I didn't even realize that this activity was taking place today. After the activity, it was really weird not having some of my friends in my class. It was sad, because just the day before, one of them told me, "We'll continue our talk tomorrow," and he wasn't there. And they won't be around school tomorrow either because it's gonna be their "funeral" and they want all of us to take it as serious as possible. We'll hear their last words, if in reality, they had the chance to say them.
I may be taking this too seriously for some of you, especially for it not being real, but I know I'm not the only one. I talked about it with my other friends that were affected as well and it was hard for them to cope.
This event just goes to show that this could happen to anyone. So just be careful.
On a lighter note, I did a look. I was supposed to post it yesterday, but I had no time. Let's just stray away from the sadness that I feel right now. (: I know I'll see them on Friday. And I know that they're safe right now.

FOUND MY PROM DRESS! (FOTD: Prom Makeup)
So I FINALLY found my prom dress! After two WHOLE weekends (literally) searching, I found one yesterday when I went to Downtown LA with the boyfriend, who by the way, ditched school just to go with me. (Thanks babe!) I found a black one that I liked, but I remembered that I wore black to Homecoming and Winter Formal, so I had to stray away from that. The lady had asked me to try on a pink one. I never thought I'd wear a pink prom dress, and I kept saying no, but she begged me, so I did, & i loved it. ALSO! A bunch of girls looking for prom dresses came in the store and complimented me on it, saying "OMG, you look so gorgeous! You should totally buy it. It makes you glow" But the one thing that made me know it was theeeee dress was the boyfriend's reaction :) where his chinky eyes went from -.- to O.O lol. & yes, prom is a big deal to me so I had to find the perfect dress. And to think that I wasn't even gonna try it on! LOL. I'll take a picture of it next time and you girls can tell me what you think :)
But anyways! I did a look on my eyes just to practice for the day of prom. I would get my makeup done, but it costs so much, especially at MAC. I have the materials, too, so I might as well make use of them.
What I used:

So that's all girls! I hope you liked.
Feel free to tell me what you think of the makeup
because I gotta have it perfect! :D

Review: Sally Hensen Shea Butter Rapid Finish

Cons: None
Cons: None
Pros: Smells really good. And the product does exactly what it states. It dries your nails in only 30 secs. Well, a few seconds longer, but what's an extra 5 secs? Haha. Crazy right? I was kinda skeptical about it, but it actually does work. I'm really impatient when it comes to nails and drying. I somehow always messed up one nail, and I'd have to do it over. But I think this is a lifesaver. Not really. But you know what I mean. Leaves your hands feeling soft too, and it softens cuticles with Shea Butter. Only ONE spray is needed. So you can use way more than several times. Also travel friendly ;]
Recommended?: Mmmhmm. Totally worth a try :]
Price: 5 out of 5
Packaging: 5 out of 5
Overall: 5 out of 5
So that's all ladies :)
Hope you enjoyed!
Take care!!
Edit___
I received a question from Celina.
Question: I was wondering what a good foundation is that can cover up some redness and a few freckles on the nose? If you could help that would be great!! (:
Answer: The foundation I love to wear is Loreal True Match. It's really inexpensive ($10) compared to others. It goes on really smoothly. It lasts long too. For the redness on your skin, I suggest NYC Cover Stick, which is only $1.99. Apply it before your foundation. If you want it to last throughout the day, I suggest to apply Monistat Anti-Chafing Relief Powder Gel before applying anything else. It sounds weird, but it has the same active ingredient as any other primer out there. (Thanks to Vanessa for sharing this) Hope this helps! :]

FOTD: Royal Assets & Review on Optimum Oil Therapy
MAC's Royal Assets: Warm Eyes
The colors in order are:

sunday best, retrospeck, club

sunday best, retrospeck, club
I don't know. Haha, I liked it :]
& I got compliments. So yay!

For reviews, I like to start with cons, just because I think it's better to end on a good note :] Haha, so here we go!Review: Optimum Oil Therapy Dry Hair Healer
I miss doing these for Xanga.
Finally get to start again! Yay.
Price: $3.99-$4.99
Cons: None
Pros: It smells great! I always do a sniff test before buying a hair product. Contains ingredients that provide essential oils. It's inexpensive and worth much more than the price. No greasy build up like some other dry hair products. However, it gives a great amount of moisture to hair. Good to apply daily. It slowly works from root to tip to help control breakage and protect from heat. A little goes a long way, so you wouldn't need to use a lot. Small, so you can bring it along with you in your purse (esp. if you use gigantic purses like me) Oh, and the yellow color is cute!
Recommended?: Yes.

Packaging: 4 out of 5

Target Haul !
What's up, lovelies :]
So today was pretty exciting for me!
Well, kinda, just becausee I'm kinda stepping it up.
SO...during my Yearbook class, my friend, Ariel, asked me to do her makeup. She had a Softball game, and when it comes to makeup, the team has to wear blue. Coincidentally, I two blue eyeshadows in my makeup bag today! She also had a blue eyeshadow as well, from Ruby Cosmetics. Just wanted to show you...
What I used:

I went to Target with my cousin and my sister, looking for a Mother's Day Card and birthday card for one of my friends tomorrow. The greeting is very funny. :D On the front it has two bees on it, both of them saying "BOO!" to each other. & when you open inside the card, it says, "Look! I got you a card with a pair of 'Boo-Bees' on it! Happy birthday!" Haha :D I found that amusing. But anyway! I'm getting sidetracked. As I was doing my shopping, I received a text from Ariel (the girl up there) thanking me for doing her makeup and telling me how her friends really liked it. Now, they're asking her to ask me how much I would charge to do makeup for prom! O.O Big deal to me, girls. Haha. I found that extremely flattering, so I got so excited and showed my little sister and my cousin, who know how much I'm in love with makeup. They got excited for me too! :D So that was one of the highlights of my day.
I also received a phone call from AVON! And..they're going to interview me tomorrow. I'm kind of nervous because of the fact that I've never had a job. Ah! Hopefully they'll like me :] Haha. I'm excited. If I get this, then hey ladieeeees! I'll be your Avon rep! ;] haaha.
So I bought these products to help my damaged and dry hair. I will do a proper review on it soon, because I really like it :] I used it today after I showered, and my hair feels HYDRATED and HEALTHY :]

I also purchased Loreal Hip High Intensity Shocking Eyeshadow in Valiant 534.
I actually really like the Hip collection. The only thing is that I wished there'd be more of a variety, especially when it comes to the colors. I did an eyeshadow look just using this pigment alone, both wet & dry. (+ a highlighting color) Enjoy :]

That's all for now :]
I'll remember to do my reviews on those products soon.
Take care, girls<3
